As President of Daversa, Laura plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s long-term growth and overall success. Beyond her executive responsibilities, she remains deeply engaged with clients, having built and scaled one of the firm’s largest and most successful search practices, recognized across the tech and venture ecosystem. Over the past 15+ years, Laura has masterfully guided more than 1,000 executive placements, spanning both consumer and B2B sectors. Her expertise is sought after by leading investors such as Bond, Thrive, NEA, Addition, IVP, and Conviction, who rely on her to build leadership teams that power high-growth, innovative companies.
Laura joined the firm and built Daversa’s product and engineering practice. Today, she and her team continue to be deeply focused on Product and Engineering hires as well as important operational roles. A key part of Laura's success lies in her understanding of the nuanced demands of scaling both product and engineering organizations as well as identifying game changing CEOs and operations leaders. She has been instrumental in recruiting for groundbreaking teams at companies like OpenAI, Plaid, Harvey, Square, Airtable, Engine, General Motors, Clay, MongoDB, DraftKings and Oscar Health. Her ability to identify and place leaders who combine technical excellence with operational acumen has cemented her as an essential partner for firms navigating rapid growth and transformation.
At just 28, she became the youngest person in Daversa’s history to reach Partner status, earning recognition as one of Crain’s Most Notable Women in Tech. Laura graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Communications and Business Management. She lives in New Canaan, CT with her family.
